It\u2019s also a solid dose of ceramic knowledge that I pass on to you during each meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It\u2019s crucial for me that when you leave my class you know why stoneware clay is the best choice for dinnerware, why do we fire it so high, what do we need to pay attention to when choosing a glaze in order not to poison anyone \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<h6><b>What will I do?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First meeting (2h) &#8211; Each workshop starts with a teapot of freshly made tea! While you sit comfortably sipping aromatic mixture I\u2019ll tell you a bit about clay itself, describe what we\u2019re going to do at each meeting and what stages the clay has to go through to become a proper pot!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then we\u2019ll get to work, prepare the clay, weigh it, farm little balls from it and start throwing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Second meeting (2h) takes place a week after the first one and this specific timeline is a necessary condition! Otherwise your work might get too dry to work with. So when we meet again we\u2019ll proceed with the trimming of the foot of each pot. I\u2019ll show you various ways of trimming and describe how it affects the visual effect of the finished vessel. You\u2019ll learn how to center your pot and use various tools to achieve desired effect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After this meeting we\u2019ll take a longer break of about 3-4 weeks. During this time your pots will be bisque fires for 900 degrees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The third meeting (2h) takes place when your bisqueware pots are all ready for glazing. This time I\u2019ll tell you in detail about glazing \u2013 types and properties of glazes and best methods of applying it. I\u2019ll explain why ceramic wax is useful and how to clean bisqueware to avoid unwanted \u201ceffects\u201d. After this class your work will be fired for the last time for 1240 degrees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After approx. 3-4 weeks from our last meeting your pots will be ready to collect!<\/p>\n<h6><b>Is it for me?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cFull circle\u201d workshop is aimed at people who either already had their first experience with clay or simply feel that one meeting like \u201chere we go\u201d is not enough for them and deep down feel convinced that as soon as they sit down by the wheel they will get hooked \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop was designed so that you can participate in every stage of creating a ceramic vessel. No shortcuts \u2013 you\u2019ll do everything yourself from start to finish. Throwing, trimming of the foot of each pot and glazing.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the workshops are designed for adults.<\/p>\n<h6><b>What will it give me?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Workshops are above all else, a time to relax and get away from everyday life. Working on a potter\u2019s wheel is completely incomparable to anything you do in your everyday life and that\u2019s its greatest advantage!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u2019t laugh, but throwing pots is close to meditation as you concentrate on the clay and forget all else. I promise you won\u2019t even notice when the 2 hours are up\u2026<\/p>\n<h6><b>What do I provide you with?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I\u2019ll provide you with aprons and warm tea and after the workshop a small surprise will be send to your email address \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<h6><b>What are the available times and dates?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\">Workshops are held from Monday till Friday between 10.00 &#8211; 12.00 and 18.00-20.00.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The workshop is closed on weekends.<\/p>\n<h6><b>How to make an appointment?<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After purchasing the workshop, contact me by e-mail to arrange a convenient dates for our meetings! If you buy a workshop as a gift, also let me know &#8211; I\u2019ll send you a special voucher for you to print out, fill in and give as a present. You can also drop by my studio for the printed vouchers.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Price and duration<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Workshop \u201cfull circle\u201d consists of three meetings that last 2 hours and costs 700 PLN per person. There are only three wheels in my studio, therefore only three people can take part in the workshops at the same time, which allows me to pay each participant a lot of attention.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>How to prepare for workshop?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please wear flat shoes and comfortable clothes, bearing in mind that despite the apron you might get a little dirty (nothing to worry about &#8211; clay washes of easily).
