\u201cHere we go\u201d workshop is intended for people who have never tried throwing but are willing to give it a go!<\/p>\n
The workshop lasts two hours and during class you\u2019ll learn the basics of working on the wheel and throw your first pots! Afterwards you go home and I take care of the rest \ud83d\ude09 Your pots will be trimmed, signed with your name and date, then glazed, fires.<\/p>\n
After about 3-4 weeks ready to be picked up an placed on your kitchen shelf! (We only use stoneware clay fired above 1200 degrees so your work will be dishwasher and oven safe!)<\/p>\n
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need any manual skills whatsoever to work on the wheel. What you will need is enthusiasm, commitment and patience \u2013 with yourself and the clay of course! \ud83d\ude09 Please note that the workshops are designed for adults.<\/p>\n
Workshops are above all else, a time to relax and get away from everyday life. Working on a potter\u2019s wheel is completely incomparable to anything you do in your everyday life and that\u2019s its greatest advantage!<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t laugh, but throwing pots is close to meditation as you concentrate on the clay and forget all else. I promise you won\u2019t even notice when the 2 hours are up\u2026<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll provide you with aprons and warm tea and after the workshop a small surprise will be send to your email address \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
Workshops are held from Monday till Friday between 10.00 – 12.00 and 18.00-20.00.<\/p>\n
The workshop is closed on weekends.<\/p>\n
After purchasing the workshop, contact me by e-mail to arrange a convenient dates for our meetings! If you buy a workshop as a gift, also let me know – I\u2019ll send you a special voucher for you to print out, fill in and give as a present. You can also drop by my studio for the printed vouchers.<\/p>\n
Workshop \u201chere we go\u201d lasts 2 hours and costs 300 PLN per person. There are only three wheels in my studio, therefore only three people can take part in the workshops at the same time, which allows me to pay each participant a lot of attention.<\/p>\n
Please wear flat shoes and comfortable clothes, bearing in mind that despite the apron you might get a little dirty (nothing to worry about – clay washes of easily). I always advice (especially the girls) to keep their nails short – otherwise it might make working with clay difficult.<\/p>\n
Also trousers make more sense when you sit by the wheel.
